Table Rock Lake State Park, Missouri

At the edge of Branson, in southern Missouri, sits Table Rock Lake State Park. This little park is a treat for visitors and locals alike. We found it to be an ideal setting for our visit to the Branson area.

What we loved about this State Park:

It is conveniently located near the town of Branson. We found it quite easy to explore the surrounding area from here.

Located away from the major highways, it is not only picturesque, but quiet.

This scenery is lovely.

The trail along the lake is paved and perfect for easy family bikes rides and walks. The park trail runs 2.2 miles (one way) from the the campground to the Visitor Center.

Ample access to the lake…which happens to be incredibly clean and clear.

Overall, the campground and park are incredibly picturesque and offer opportunity to pause.

There is a beautiful marina and store, however there was a severe storm while we were there and both sustained serious damage. The marina was completely shut down when we left the park. The campground also sustained some damage as many trees feel during the storm.

The campground is quite nice and offers paved sites with full hook-ups for RV’s, in addition to tent spots along the water. The facilities include restrooms, showers and even a small laundry room.

RVer’s can read my full review HERE on Campendium. You can also find plenty of information about Table Rock State Park on their website HERE. (Do note that there is a Table Rock State Park in South Carolina…so be sure to find the right one!)

We would not hesitate to return to this park again. The campground has easy access and is well maintained…and the park has so much to offer.

When we return we will plan more time for the Visitor Center and perhaps rent a boat to take out on the lake.
